PPO-UAE inducts the 2026 Officers at the Grand Continental Hotel, sets the Strategic Goals under “L.E.A.D.E.R.S. in Action”
Abu Dhabi, UAE — The Philippine Professional Organization – United Arab Emirates formally inducted its 2026 officers during its Leaders’ Night and Induction Ceremony held at the Grand Continental Hotel in Abu Dhabi, outlining a structured and strategic roadmap for the year ahead.
The evening commenced with registration, followed by a musical opening salvo by Mr. Rafael Carlos, who serenaded the dashing leaders of PPO-UAE and set a celebratory yet dignified tone for the program. The ceremony was led by Master of Ceremonies Mr. Ernie Navarro, who guided the formal proceedings. An invocation followed, inviting reflection before the keynote address.
Philippine Professional Organization – UAE (PPO-UAE)
The Philippine Professional Organization – United Arab Emirates (PPO-UAE) is the recognized umbrella organization of about 24 Filipino professional associations in the UAE. It serves as the central coordinating body that unites 10,000+ licensed Filipino professionals across various disciplines, industries, and emirates, with a shared mission of professional excellence, public service, and nation-building.
PPO-UAE plays a vital role in advancing the welfare, competence, and global recognition of Filipino professionals working and residing in the UAE.
Core Mandate
The primary mandate of PPO-UAE is to partner with the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) of the Philippines, in close coordination with the Philippine Embassy, the Philippine Consulate General, and the Migrant Workers Office (MWO), for the conduct of the Special Professional Licensure Examinations (SPLE) or Philippine Board Examinations in the UAE.
Through this mandate, PPO-UAE ensures that qualified Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) are given accessible, transparent, and well-organized opportunities to obtain or renew their professional licenses without the need to return to the Philippines.

SPLE Coordination and Support
- Acts as the principal professional partner of PRC in SPLE planning and execution
- Mobilizes professional organizations to support examination logistics
- Ensures compliance with PRC standards and examination protocols
Professional Unification
- Brings together licensed Filipino professionals from diverse fields (Accounting & Finance, Engineering, Healthcare, Education, Architecture, IT, Business, and other regulated professions)
